PRT Admin Support Information

What is this forum?

This section of the forum is designed to facilitate one-on-one discussions between the Administration and forum users. The forum is set up in such a way that you can post and reply to your own threads, however other users (except for the Admin team) cannot see or post in threads they did not create themselves. This setup lets us talk about problems and suggestions without distractions and/or spam, and in private.

How does it work?

The Admin Support forum works using a ticket system, which is best explained like this: threads created by users will be dealt with by the Admin team starting with the oldest thread. After the issue in the thread has been dealt with, the thread will be closed.

Please keep the following in mind:
  • Please have only one issue/suggestion/request per post. (Support Ticket)
  • Do not spam ticket threads with off topic chatter.
  • Do not refer to old tickets, post a new ticket instead.
  • Do not abuse the ticket systems.
A clarification on ticket status:
  • "Open" tickets have either not yet been handled or are currently in progress.
  • "Closed" tickets have been completed/solved and locked. Closed tickets are archived after a period of time.

Format:

For increased clarity and internal prioritizing, the forums have an internal thread title prefix. This color codes the tickets and is listed below. You must use one in your thread, and it will fall under one of these categories:
  • [COMPLAINT] for complaints.
  • [APPEAL] for appeals regarding Bans, Rejected Signups or Re-Signups.
  • [QUESTION] for general questions.
  • [REQUEST] for requests (including access/forum issues or name change requests).
  • [REMARK] for (practical) remarks (e.g. pointing out an error).
  • [APPLICATION] for admin, contractor, or other applications to join the PRT team.
Please also make your topic titles clear and descriptive.

Example:
  • You would like to make a complaint about another user's foul language.
    • A bad topic title would be: "language!!!"
    • A good topic title would be: "[COMPLAINT] using foul language."

The Admin Support forum is not so much a place for suggestions but rather an area for:
  • Troubleshooting and requests.
  • Complaints (the most important service, since privacy is guaranteed).
  • Technical issues.
  • Questions regarding the tournament in general.
Any threads created in this forum will be taken seriously, and discussed carefully. We do, however, expect you to make this possible. We simply can't deal with huge epistles on how you think things should be. Please make sure your threads are clear and practical.

Now that you read through this, you can post your support ticket if still necessary:

Be aware that your posts as an unregistered user will be visible to the public, so do not share any private information. The alternative is to Register and post a normal support ticket as described above.
