PRT Campaign 11: SITREP #1 (Operation #1, SignUps, Minimod Test, Next Map)
Hello PRT Community! Both Preparation Battles (Operation Marlin and Burning Sands) have been played and we would like to thank and congratulate both sides for the fair games and great sportsmanship and teamwork that was already seen in the first weeks of this Campaign. Operation Marlin was won by PDI with 42 - 0. Burning Sands was also won by PDI with 76 - 0. This counts up to a victory in the prep-battles by PDI with 116 points. This means that PDI got to choose the first Operation on the campaign board. In return, MRF got to decide the first map in the operation. See below for information on what operation and map the teams decided to play first. Find out more about the campaign operations board and how it works here. The administration is very pleased with overall balance so far. Compared to C10, which was considered the most balanced campaign in PRT history and where PAC won both prep-battles with a total of 180 - 0 points, the recent battles had a much tighter coutcome already and we are looking forward for both teams to get really started with the upcoming battles of the first Operation! Ladies and Gentlemen, after a 6-month-break since the GRAND FINAL of C10, the Official Project Reality Tournament has now officially started again with Campaign 11. We are in WAR-MODE! It is time to intensify your trainings and procedures, be as active as possible and prepare for the first campaign battle. PDI won both prep maps and therefore gets to choose the first operation on the campaign board. The team agreed on Operation Rolling Thunder. MRF in return gets to pick the map, and they choose Yamalia AAS INF. You can see all operations and maps on the interactive campaign operations board. Get ready for massive and intense infantry bushfights on the ruthless open battlefield of the Russian tundra! PDI & MRF Reserve Signups will be opening again shortly!!! On wednesday the 21.10.2015 at 19h00 PRT. There will only be between 20-30 slots available! First come, First Served! Check the Signup Status Thread for more information. Make sure you subscribe to that thread and never miss the signups again. We are happy to announce that the PRT has been offered to host an organized event for [R-DEV] Kab's minimod "PR: Deviation". The Minimod focusses on updating core PR features to change the game in the spirit of the classics in the tactical shooter genre, such as Ravenshield and SWAT 4, while still having PR's most important benefits: Teamwork, mumble communication and a healing system. Some of us already had the chance to test it and it's definitely worth testing out! Basically, it brings back all the features needed for this oldschool tactical experience, such as: And much more ... The Project Reality-Time(PRT) clock (used for battles and other team events) does not use DST. It's important that you take this change into effect for your plannings. Battles will remain at 19:00 PRT. Find out more about the PR-Time here. For Central-EU-based players, "19 PRT" does no longer mean 21:00 (+2), but only 1 hour difference, therefore 20:00 (or respective 21:00 in Eastern European Time Zones (+2 instead of +3). We advise you to change your training times a bit if you have American-based Squad members. The time will be the same for you, but our American members can join easier for the time being. ------------------------- Quick Links PR Tournament Website How-To Sign-Up Tournament FAQ Tournament Rules Battle & Practice Schedule IRC: server: irc.quakenet.org | channel: prtournament (autoconnect) Teamspeak3: server: 188.165.92.2 (autoconnect)

Is minimod downloadable for everyone or only pr tournament players?

With v1.3.5 around the corner,I can only suggest both teams to prepare for the situation where the next battle will be after a patch, or maybe not.
This being said: edit: Canadians

Any chance of getting an accurate asset list for post-patch? (*Looking at those helicopter numbers.*)

as the update is around the corner and the PRT just started, is there a chance that we get to play the new maps in the PRT?

Re: PRT Campaign 11: SITREP #1 (Operation #1, SignUps, Minimod Test, Next Map)
Usually not. But I won't fully exclude the option of having a talk between the teams when the time comes regarding that. Especially because 1.3.5 focuses ALOT on GPO changes on maps, which might will force the teams to rediscuss some layouts anyways.
First of all we will have to wait for the patch and then wait some more time to spot possible issues on new and old maps and update the campaign board according to that. We are aware that the patch really has shit timing (PRT-wise), especially due to the many GPO changes, but well we will have to deal with that.
