Re: C13 - Grunt signups
I'm very happy to see C13 roll out
Good luck to everyone, new and old. I think I might have actually played in the most PRT campaigns of anyone, so if you will permit an old sentimental player a few words of advice: #1) The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war - Before match-night you should know the map, the kits, vehicles and your Area of Responsibility by heart. Every building, bush, firing line etc This is something I learned from Onil, the real PRT veteran :P #2) A gentleman's team comes first - Think how best you can serve the team, find something you enjoy and do it. From making posters, gathering intel or brainstorming tactics and strategies. Someone has to build the FOBs, guard the flags or do the supply runs. There is merit in anything that helps your team win the battle. #3) "Love all, trust a few and do wrong to no one" - That was either me or Shakespeare. In case it wasn't obvious, I'd like to join you guys but will have to wait until I'm back in civilization and near an decent internet pipe. Give 'em one for me! Cheers, Murkey. |

Re: C13 - Grunt signups
Apologies to all who read my signup application.
It was not meant to be flippant. After first seeing the sign up time about 27 minutes before it started, I knew I would be using a "smart" device to sign up as I was going to be on the road. When I clicked, checked, typed and otherwise complied with the sign up form, it refused to submit. I already was signing up well after the initial time, had taken a bit of more time to fill everything out correctly. And used a chunk of limited mobile data. So the next try at filling out the application included brevity and corner cutting to get to the point where I could click "submit". |
